Hello! We are joylabo
We are a collective of artists, engineers, and designers on a mission to bring joy to unexpected places. The group formed while studying art and technology at the Interactive Telecommunications Program at the Tisch School of the Arts and found a shared interest in exploring how technology can enable new modes of playful interaction. While each member has their medium of choice, they all come together to create installations in mixed media that subvert expectations of public space and challenge daily mundanity.
Areas of work include interactive, physical, digital, virtual, and augmented spaces.
